Littelfuse is a global manufacturer of technologies in circuit protection, power control, and sensing. Having experienced considerable growth due to acquisitions they were challenged with the management of new product development projects (NPD) specifically related process and technology standardization. Some approval cycles can take four weeks or longer and gathering associated data could take up to three weeks. Littelfuse now has 186 NPD projects under Aras Project Management application control. Littelfuse has developed a multi-year PLM roadmap to add additional functionality including innovation, configuration, supplier, and manufacturing management.
