Over a professional career span of +25 years, Bruno Benevolo has taken a lead role on many significant CAD/CAM, EDMS/PDM/PLM projects in the shipbuilding, offshore, industrial and nuclear plant industries. Bruno has worked with SSI (ShipConstructor Software Inc.) since 2008, initially focused on ShipConstructor CAD/CAM implementations for large scale commercial and offshore shipbuilding projects. In his current role as Director of SSI Enterprise Solutions, he is the technical lead for strategic SSI Platform implementation projects spanning all phases of the shipbuilding lifecycle and digital thread, as well as the full range of technology components of the SSI platform (CAD/CAM/DMU/PLM). As part of his current role, Bruno is also the lead SSI solution architect for SSI Platform integration projects with third-party enterprise systems such as MRP/ERP, MES and MRO, providing guidance to SSI clients on how to connect the SSI Platform with enterprise architectures and the extended digital thread.
