Federation allows the use of data elements maintained outside the Aras Innovator database within the regular Aras Innovator system operations. When properly configured, the manipulation of data elements kept outside the Aras Innovator system database will be totally transparent to the end-user, facilitating and promoting seamless operations and full compliance to business requirements and workflows.

In this hands-on session, you will learn how to define and create Federated data elements and experience the transparency of such external dataset manipulation implementation to the end-user throughout all CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) set of instructions.
