The Aras Office Connector provides a convenient way to manage office files created using Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook e-mail messages. Users will work directly in Microsoft Office authoring tools to create and edit office files that automatically create corresponding documents in Aras Innovator. The native file formats, as well as PDF versions (created on-the-fly), are stored in a secure vault.
Aras has added many key enhancements to the functionality of Aras Office Connector since upgrading from the Aras Innovator 12 platform. You will get to try the new and improved features including improved login handling for expired sessions, progress indicators, released template filters, open in Office protocol, enhanced searching, and multiselect when linking Office documents to existing items.
