Brenda Byrd is an Engineering Program/Project Lead at Sandia National Laboratory who has 20+ years of project leadership, engineering management and accounting experience in diverse operational environments. In Brenda’s 15 years at the laboratory she has held various roles including project leadership roles in multi-million dollar projects with national security impact, pathfinding enterprise engineering solutions, and is currently leading a team of systems engineers who guide science and engineering projects to implement and improve product lifecycle management processes and solutions. For the last five years she has also been the Project Lead for the Aras Innovator solution that started as a pathfinding point-solution and has become a standard tailorable Product Lifecycle Management solution that can be used across the laboratory. Brenda has a BBA in Accounting and MBA from the University of New Mexico. She is a certified Project Management Professional, Agile Scrum Master, AS9100 Lead Auditor, and is certified in CMII by the Institute for Process Excellence and PLM Leadership by CIMdata.
