In his role as Principal PLM Architect in the Global Product Development (GPD) IT organization, Randy leads solution architecture within the PLM domain, ensuring conformance to approved GM technology standards, and defining the future state architecture through hands-on development and management of architectural initiatives. Randy also manages the security architecture and performance engineering teams in GPD architecture.
Before joining GM in 2013, Randy spent 15 years working at Siemens PLM on the GM account. During his time at Siemens he held multiple roles from Teamcenter application engineer to solution architect. Randy led multiple initiatives in partnership with GM leaders in the Teamcenter space.
Prior to working at Siemens, Randy worked for EDS on the GM account. During this time, he worked on multiple projects from CAD data translators to the initial deployments of Teamcenter at multiple GM sites globally. Before EDS, Randy served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years.
