The Query Builder application enables administrators to build reusable AML queries that are used with other Innovator applications. The Tree Grid View application provides a means to build a visual data structure for end users. The data structure can provide information on where a given item fits in the context of other items. It offers a visual layout of the data as a Relationship tab on an item view. Tree Grid Views are grids defined by Innovator administrators. This application takes advantage of the Query Builder application to submit a query to get the necessary data. It then uses the data to populate the grid created by the administrator. In this hands-on session, you will define a query definition and a tree grid view and connect the view to an ItemType. This will create a tab to display the data structure, providing information on where a given item fits in the context of other items.
