David Widegren leads CERN’s Engineering Information Management unit, which provides engineering applications and support for the Organization and its different projects. David joined CERN in 1997 and has since then held multiple positions, all related to enterprise applications and engineering tools. He holds a M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden and an MBA degree from HIG, also Sweden.
