The European Union (EU)  Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a key initiative the EU proposed as part of its broader strategy for a sustainable and circular economy. With this initiative EU aims to enhance product sustainability by improving transparency and accessibility of information across the product's lifecycle.

In our joint presentation with CADFEM we will discuss challenges related to the new ESPR regulation mandating the DPP. We will elaborate how to overcome several of those challenges and how Ansys Granta MI, simulation and Aras Innovator can support designing for sustainability as a means to feed the DPP.
