he European Union (EU)  Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a key initiative the EU proposed as part of its broader strategy for a sustainable and circular economy. With this initiative EU aims to enhance product sustainability by improving transparency and accessibility of information across the product's lifecycle.

In this presentation we will discuss challenges related to the new ESPR regulation mandating the DPP. We will elaborate how to overcome several of those challenges and how Aras Innovator can serve as part of the DPP information model and support designing for sustainability.
