The Configurable Web Services, also known as “CWS”, provides low-code capabilities to the Aras Innovator platform to define and publish customized REST API. Configurable Web Services allows the establishment of REST APIs with almost no coding skills, which results in easier and faster implementation of system integration and application development.

Configurable Web Services not only enhances control and security of the dataset offered at Aras Innovator endpoints, but also allows management of operations allowed by each customized REST API. In summary, Configurable Web Services improves creation, implementation and management of customized REST APIs and the scope of items and permissions involved in the process.
