Description

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is a US DoD Federally Funded Research & Development Center (FFRDC) whose mission is to apply advanced technology to problems of national security. Lincoln is undergoing an enterprise-wide digital transformation which includes Digital Engineering as a foundational piece.

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is building a custom Digital Thread to capture and connect data from early concept development, systems engineering, and design through to fabrication, assembly, and test. In this session, David Radue, one of the implementation leads, will present an overview of Lincoln’s efforts in the area of Manufacturing Process Planning and Manufacturing Execution Records as applied to prototyping.

MIT Lincoln Laboratory will be joined by Mike Flores, Principal at Eontes, to share Eontes’ recent developments in Aras Manufacturing Process Planning (MPP). He will present an overview of the new MPP features and Eontes’ mobile application and discuss how each deepens the Digital Thread further into manufacturing and facilitates ease of use, traceability, and mobility with MPP.
