As the world undertakes Energy Transition, we must also re-think how we plan, execute, and delivery energy infrastructure projects.  Legacy approaches, hinging on voluminous narrative documentation and manual processes are not fit for the fast-paced world associated with these new types of projects and customers. Lightweight, customizable, and “open” tools are needed to digitalize processes and interface with a number of parties and systems more rapidly than ever before.  We will touch on how McDermott is approaching this challenge through rethinking processes and tools, as well as how digital transformation is poised to help us realize those aims.
